Going forward, I will only connect drives to be used when I boot into Windows, and won't use it to connect drives to be used in MacOS. My DVD RW is connected through this and it can read DVD's fine, but I haven't tested its ability to write. I am having problems with drives that are formatted if connected through this card. Update: I don't think this card is compatible with MacOS. Update: The Samsung NVMe's have are not able to perform the TRIM function properly, leading to excessive boot times when enabled.
